Happenings
Good morning! How are you doing?
I have been doing okay. I have autoimmune symptoms that I'm battling yet again but it could be worse. Now it's dry eye and dry mouth instead of breathing issues. I am suspecting my outside walking is making my symptoms flare up, sigh. I'm staying inside this week to see if it helps me out.
My adult learning classes ended over a week ago except for one more Tai Chi class this week. I have thoroughly been enjoying the break! My knitting has blossomed. I'm trying to finish the pair of socks for my husband this week. While also spontaneously starting a Christmas scarf out of wool I received from one of my knitting pals where I used to live. The mail I get from the three of them is wonderful!!
I have a mighty to do list from here on out until the holidays. I finished wrapping all the gifts now I'm down to some selfish knitting and some last minute knitting. I love it!
How was your week? How are your holiday plans?

Pretty holiday yarn and the sock is looking good! I haven't done anything (hardly) for Christmas! I need to get on with it.
ReplyDeleteI am sending you healing thoughts... I hope you can find a fix that sticks! Lovely knitting (that holiday yarn is just gorgeous!)
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty yarn for sure. I think the winter is what is happening to make my dry mouth and dry eye worse too. I vote for staying inside and warm too..I hope it works.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that the autoimmune symptoms are showing their ugly presence again but I do understand. I'm glad you are enjoying your break from the adult learning classes. Have a good week, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThe greens in the sock are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI like the green and yellow colors together.
ReplyDeleteI love those green socks! Good for you for already having your wrapping finished. I got to work on that tonight. My shopping is almost finished. I hope you have a good week. See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I hope staying inside helps with your symptoms, Karen.
ReplyDeleteThe green and yellow socks look bright and cheerful. I hope your symptoms subside soon. Staying well seems to be a balance as we age. I hope to finish shopping this week and then get everything wrapped and in the mail soon. I have been taking some time to enjoy the season but it is time to get a few things checked off the list.
