Knitting News
Good morning! How are you?
My health is improving (no fever, less pain) but I still have symptoms of the sinus infection and am doubtful I'll be cured, sigh. This is week four of the never-ending illness, wish me luck! I honestly didn't start knitting until Sunday or Monday night, and when I did knit I didn't knit for long. However, I am less than five rows to finishing the colorwork of the yoke. After that it is stockinette stitching which to me is wonderful! I can zip along knitting, watch TV or read my kindle.
In my mind, I'd like to start another project but my energy levels are too low. I just think about it instead. I have in mind a cowl with the yarn my sister gave me for my birthday in November.
What are you working on this week?

I hope you are feeling tip top and soon, Karen!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are still fighting this thing! Your knitting looks very nice!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are starting to improve, but I am sorry you are still so low on energy and still feel some sinus infection symptoms. When you go without knitting, it tells the story...no need for words.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on a hooded scarf. I'm only about five rows in out of the 23, but it is working up quickly. I just choose to do a few rows each evening.
I hope you're taking some antibiotics for the sinus infection. That's the only thing that helps me when I have one.
ReplyDeleteyes I am, they started me on one but then I had to switch to another because on top of the sinus infection I developed a double ear infection.
DeleteSo sorry you are still battling this illness Karen. Get better!!! I'm plugging away on the family socks and dreaming of what I can make next. (Trying to stay focused to finish the Family Socks - a hard thing to do!!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful knitting. I am so sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I hope you are on the mend very quickly.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are seeing some improvement. You have had a long siege of illness. I'm working on the cardigan sweater and a sophie hood.
ReplyDeleteThose darn sinus infections are miserable. I fought one for 12 weeks a year ago. Finally got an injection of Rocephin and BAM! All better.
ReplyDeleteI do like your sweater. Maybe casting on something new will perk you up.
Well, even if it is taking longer than you'd like, I'm glad you are feeling better at all.
ReplyDeleteYour colorwork looks so pretty!
