Knitting News
Good morning to you!! How are you today?
I'm doing well and have been enjoying two knitting projects this week. The sock is coming along I am now on past the heel flap and gusset working my way down to the toe. I love a plain sock on the needles. Sadly the socks will not match because the color way repeat is so very long and I just don't feel like figuring out how to make them match.
The hat that I started near Christmas has been resurrected this past week and I'm now putting a marker in every time I work on it so I can see the progress. I can't remember how many inches I have yet to do but I like seeing my progress. The Musselburgh hat is one of my favorite hat patterns because it is a VERY warm hat to wear when it's super cold outside.
What are you working on this week?

Lovely rusty orange yarn, Karen! But I am hopeful it won't be needed until much, much later this year!
ReplyDeleteI have socks that will not match on my needles too.

DeleteThe sock goes very well with your living room colors. LOL
ReplyDeleteI've been knitting on various socks and a Sophie in a yak blend yarn. I don't want the Sophie to end. The yak yarn is so nice to knit with.
My hubby says the matching stripes don't matter cause no one sees them in his shoes and under his pants. I'm almost done with hubs replacement sick. Then, back to the 2 blankets. I like the hat color you have.
ReplyDeleteLovely work!
ReplyDeleteA warm hat tucked away for Fall is always a good idea. What a pretty color. I am knitting another pair of scrappy shortie socks and a shawl.
ReplyDeleteI love that reddish orange color.
ReplyDeleteBoth the sock and hat are coming right along! Glad to hear that you are doing well. Love seeing snippets of your home. You have such a lovely home. xx
