I am addicted to knitting this hat. I want to enjoy and savor the knitting and not rush through it. But then on the other hand, we are heading towards a severe cold snap and another hat in my rotation would be delightful to wear.
Not in the photo is a pair of socks for my husband that I'm trying to finish by Christmas Day. I think I can! I knit them right in front of him and he hasn't a single clue. I finished the first sock and nearing the heel flap of the second sock.
What are you working on this week?
I'm working on an 1898 hat and am finding it intriguing to knit. It's for my husband, so hopefully, I can finish it by Christmas (and if not, he'll just get it after Christmas)!ReplyDelete
Ooo! That hat is lovely! May your sock knitting be speedy! Me? Today I am painting a card for my daughter's anniversary which is NYE... what a day, lol.ReplyDelete
Your paintings are really lovely, especially the tree trunk in the snow!Delete
I have nothing on my needles. I know! The HORROR!ReplyDelete
I will cast on a new sock later today ............a "winter solstice" sock. Happy knitting.
Hahaha - your husband sounds like mine - can be completely oblivious at times. I love the hat. Have a very Merry Christmas.ReplyDelete
Your husband and mine have something in common. That new hat is very pretty but I do think you are going to need it if the cold snap here travels east. I'm working on a Guernsey Scarf and a cowl. Merry Christmas.ReplyDelete
I'm working on a couple of hats, but yours looks more fun. What's the pattern? Merry Christmas!ReplyDelete
That hat looks lovely ! I hope you have it finished by now ? On the news I heard that the US is facing some extremely cold days ! Not sure if it's also in your area, but in case it is: take care and stay warm !ReplyDelete
May you have a lovely Christmas! 🌲 The cold snap is here, rain yesterday morning, 40s then snow when it dropped to the 20s in a couple hours. That HAT is SO pretty. Will you share the pattern?ReplyDelete
I love that hat! I hope you have managed to get you sock knit in time xReplyDelete
